This 9mm plossl eyepiece has Edge-Blackened Optics and Advanced Fully Multi-Coated Optics. These combined steps in the manufacturing process result in better contrast. With Edge-Blackened Optics, reflection is eliminated. With the addition of the Advanced Fully Multi-Coating on these optics, you have an excellent made eyepiece.
