The new design now has a grid insert inside the viewing window so the return beam can be seen easily. Our laser collimator will allow a simple, precise, one-step alignmant procedure of both telescope mirrors. Just tilt the secondary mirror so that the red dot of the laser hits the center of the primary mirror. Next tilt the primary mirror so that the red dot hits the target on the laser collimator. Now with your optics perfectly aligned, you will enjoy wonderful crisp, precise viewing from your telescope. SmartAstronomy’s Laser Collimator has an all anodized aluminum housing. Batteries come with collimator along with an additional FREE set of 3 button cell batteries!
