NEW Crayford 2 Speed Micro Focuser for SCHMIDT CASSEGRAIN TELESCOPES

This focuser has a 10 to 1 ratio using a 2 speed micro fine adjustment focus. The advantages of the Schmidt Cassegrain Crayford design focuser: constructed of strong aluminum with a black anodized finish, the drawtube glides on 4 bearing wheels with 60mm travel, a built-in tension knob for adjusting the "feel" to match your preference & 2 speed micro adjustment. Gives zero image shift and zero backlash, & offers ultra smooth and finely adjustable motion.

The focuser is the most "visible" part of any telescope with the exception of the optics themselves. You touch the focuser all the time, the focuser is responsible for holding your eyepieces or camera in position and moving them precisely into focus in the first place. This way ultra-precise focus motion is possible for both visual and particularly photographical applications.

Schmidt-Cassegrain version: It's easy to install the focuser directly to the telescope threads, just tighten the adapter on the focuser until fixed.

The features:

* Load capacity up to 2.7kgs

* Ultra smooth focus motion with 10:1 Microfocus knob

* Constant movement

* 2" compression ring

* 2" to 1.25" adaptor with compression ring and 2" filter thread
